1911-1949

Shanghai Library has a huge collection of over 18,000 kinds of periodicals published before 1949. These periodicals are well preserved. There are more than 4,000,000 entries in NICNP (1911-1949). The index is still going on. It is a powerful tool for researchers and scholars.
